RM1mil allocation for hawkers and small traders, says Anwar
The government has allocated RM1mil to help hawkers, small traders and their associations upgrade their businesses and boost their income.
Speaking at the national-level Hawkers and Small Traders Day Carnival 2026 on Sunday (Nov 1), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim urged Malaysians to support small businesses by patronising their stalls, while reminding hawkers to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
