‘Revenue raising grab: Trump’s ‘forced labour’ tariffs deeply condemned

​Eminence Advisory’s Dimitri Burshtein says US President Donald Trump’s 12.5 per cent tariffs on Australia are simply a “revenue raising grab”.

​“This is a revenue raising exercise for the US government,” Mr Burshtein told Sky News host Caleb Bold.

​“You’d think their budget was determined by the Albanese government, they’re in such a huge deficit.

​“It’s a revenue raising grab, and this is just the pretextual excuse to use the existing legislative infrastructure available to the US administration.”
