Retired Professor Arrested in Delivery Robot Standoff #shorts

Carolyn Marvin, a University of Pennsylvania professor emerita, was arrested in Philadelphia on October 14 for allegedly blocking an Uber Eats delivery robot for about an hour. Police charged her with disorderly conduct after repeatedly asking her to move from the robot’s path. Marvin told 6ABC she was protesting the use of delivery robots, arguing they take jobs away from human workers, and said she plans to contest the charge. She had also allegedly blocked a delivery robot in September in an incident that attracted attention on social media.
