Remnants of Pan-Am plane crash that changed air safety policy found 74 years later


The underwater wreckage of the Pan American Airways flight that crashed and killed 52 people off Puerto Rico’s coast in 1952 has been found, according to a news release.

The crash led to the creation of the now-mandatory preflight safety briefing and emergency procedure demonstrations on all commercial flights.
