Relive Artemis I launch and start of 2002 moon mission that paved way for Aretmis II crew

Launching from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida during a full moon, the Artemis II mission is scheduled to be humanity’s first voyage toward the moon in over 50 years. The mission that seeks to orbit the moon with a crew of astronauts aboard comes less than four years after the Artemis I launch sent an unmanned rocket around the moon in 2022.

On Wednesday, the ArtemisI crew will be made up of three Americans and one Canadian on a 10-day journey that will take them around the moon and back.
