Regional congress was manipulated: ANC NW

Some African National Congress branches in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District, in the North West, say their regional conference that took place in Potchefstroom on 14 and 15 March has been manipulated.

Branches from across the district raised their concerns at the regional consultative council held in Klerksdorp on Sunday.

At the centre of their grievances is the selection process of delegates and the party guidelines that were allegedly not followed.

The ANC in the region, maintains that despite repeated attempts to engage internal organisational processes, no decisive organisational intervention is forthcoming.
