Red Line shutdown means longer commutes, with shuttles replacing service north of Park Street.
Your commute to Boston just got longer — but at least the view is nice outside the tunnels.
Shuttles will replace Red Line service north of Park Street through July 30, as the MBTA works to repair and maintain its Camberville tracks and stations.
The T is urging riders to use shuttles, regular buses and other train lines when possible. There’s also an express shuttle between Harvard and South Station’s bus terminal, and the Commuter Rail is free between Porter Square and North Station.
