Ready, set, mow!: Lawnmower racing begins in the UK

It’s lights out and away they mow as the lawnmower racing season begins in the UK.

Racers will be competing in modified lawnmowers across 11 races to see who will take the British Championship.

Each lawnmower is classified into a one of three groups. Group 2 machines resemble traditional ride-on mowers, group 3 entries take on a buggy-style appearance and group 4 features the more tractor-like builds.
