Rape accused church elder abandons bail
The church elder accused of raping a 12-year-old girl in Dobsonville Soweto, Tshepo Ntsimane, has abandoned his bail application at the Roodepoort Magistrates Court. Ntsimane allegedly sexually assaulted the child during the Easter weekend. The court heard that outstanding evidence, including a witness statement and video footage, is still to be finalised.
