The trial of alleged 28’s gang boss, Ralph Stanfield, his wife, Nicole Johnson, and 12 co-accused gets underway in the High Court in Cape Town.
They face a wide range of charges, including the murder of gang leader Rashied Staggie in 2019, as well city of Cape Town employee, Wendy Kloppers. Other murder charges relate to the killing of alleged gang boss, William Stevens and two police officers. They’re also facing charges related to fraud and corruption.
