With U.S. fuel prices under pressure, Moscow promises diesel supplies while Trump turns up the heat on Kyiv, demanding Zelenskyy’s removal and elections during wartime. Ukraine says elections require a ceasefire. Russia says it wants a “lasting peace” – just not a truce.
And when an energy truce is announced, Russian strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities reportedly continue. Awkward! Maybe someone should explain to Putin that a ceasefire is supposed to mean ceasing fire.
