Russia says its forces have captured Olgovka in the Kharkov region and Lubitskoye in Zaporozhye while intensifying pressure on Ukrainian positions across multiple sectors. Moscow claims artillery, drones and assault units forced Ukrainian troops to retreat, although the reported captures and casualty figures have not been independently verified. Russian officials say the seizure of Lubitskoye expanded a bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Verkhnyaya Tersa River, potentially creating a launching point for deeper operations. Heavy fighting is also continuing around Pokrovsk, where Russia claims its forces obtained more advantageous positions. At the same time, Moscow launched another missile-and-drone wave against facilities in Kyiv allegedly linked to Ukrainian weapons production.
