Public transportation cut 225,000 tonnes of carbon emissions in 2025, says Prasarana
About 225,000 tonnes of carbon emissions were avoided last year through the use of public transport operated by Prasarana Malaysia Bhd.
Prasarana group chairman Tan Sri Mohd Nasir Ahmad its network recorded an average of 1.31 million daily passenger journeys, helping remove an estimated 377,000 private vehicles from roads each day.
