Progress made in construction of Ntabelanga Dam in Nqanqarhu
The Water and Sanitation Department is satisfied with progress made in the construction of Ntabelanga Dam in Nqanqarhu in the Eastern Cape.
Water and Sanitation Minister, Pemmy Majodina, and Deputy, David Mahlobo, have visited the dam, which is part of Umzimvubu Water Project.
The project has experienced technical delays, including finance and procurement problems.
Construction has now resumed, with a 2030 deadline for completion of the project.
