Port Workers Fear Hantavirus Cruise Ship Arrival in Tenerife: ‘We Haven’t Been Told Anything’
Workers from the Granadilla port, on the Spanish island of Tenerife are worried about the upcoming arrival of the MV Hondius carrying the deadly hantavirus. The MV Hondius, with nearly 150 people on board, is expected to dock in Granadilla port in Spain’s Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, within three days. Spain’s healthcare minister said, those still on board were not presenting any symptoms of the disease.
