Pope Leo’s stance on data centres in spotlight ahead of midterms as ‘AI apocalypse’ grows
Catholicvote CEO Kelsey Reinhardt says Pope Leo’s position on AI data centres will play a certain role among Christian voters in the upcoming midterm elections.
“I definitely want to see where the Pope comes down on data centres … I haven’t seen that in the policies yet, but I know that it is something that Catholic voters are thinking a lot about given some of the ethical dimensions there,” Ms Reinhardt told News24 host James Morrow.
“It’s definitely going to be an electoral issue for Catholics and for the general population.”
