Political parties react to State Security budget vote
There’s been mixed reaction from political parties on the State Security budget vote. Some parties have criticised reports of political interference as well as internal power struggles and alleged misuse of funds in the intelligence services.
There were also calls for a review of how intelligence services are held accountable on how they spend, with some parties alleging that their secretive and classification of information breeds corruption.
