The government has unveiled an ambitious long-term plan to dramatically cut rail travel times, making journeys from the coast to the mountains or from the German to the Ukrainian border significantly faster.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk says the goal is to make rail the country’s most popular form of transport by 2050.
