‘Plays out really badly’: Sussan Ley’s leadership under fire amid Price axing

Former Liberal Queensland premier Campbell Newman critiques Opposition Leader Sussan Ley over her axing of Jacinta Nampijinpa Price.

“It plays out really, really badly … that’s the way it looks,” Mr Newman told Sky News host James Macpherson.

“Leadership is actually about trying to corral people, bring them together, not do what Sussan Ley’s done, which is to sort of reward friends and marginalise opponents in the leadership ballot.”
