Phase two of Poultry Master Plan to be implemented
The department of Trade, Industry and Competition together with The Department of Agriculture and stakeholders in the poultry industry have signed an agreement to implement phase two of the Poultry Master Plan.
At a farmers’ event held in Bronkhorstspruit, department officials recognised and awarded viable black-owned commercial poultry businesses with certificates of excellence.
The first phase of implementation of the Poultry Master Plan has made good progress in improving the entire value chain of chicken production from feed to the processing of chickens.
