The trial of the four army intelligence officers arrested in connection with the attack on human rights activist Andrie Yunus began this week in Indonesia’s military court.
The case has caused outrage in the archipelago, where concerns over the military’s growing influence in Indonesian politics have been steadily rising.
Activists say attacks on those critical of that influence are rising, too.
