‘People are smart’: Trump accused of losing touch with struggling Americans
‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ host Megyn Kelly argues the Trump administration has become distracted by its own priorities.
“How optimistic and hopeful and excited and happy that we felt in November of 2024 that he [Donald Trump] could do anything,” Ms Kelly told News24 host Paul Murray.
“It’s like he- I don’t know if it’s narcissism or hubris or just self-centeredness in general, but it’s like he got in there and he started to focus on his little pet projects.
“I know that working-class people and middle-class people are still suffering.
“The people are smart. They are very smart. You do not need a Harvard economics degree to understand that one thing led to another.”
