Oil prices surge following Iranian strike on UAE energy facility
CommSec’s James Gruber claims a suspected Iranian strike on an oil facility in the United Arab Emirates sent oil prices surging.
A fire has broken out at a key oil facility in the United Arab Emirates, which officials suspect was caused by an Iranian drone attack.
“That sent oil prices much higher, almost six per cent higher to above $US114 a barrel,” Mr Gruber told Sky News Australia.
