‘Obvious answer’: Calls for further pipelines to be built in Middle East to avoid need for Hormuz

Sky News US Analyst Michael Ware says Middle East nations building further pipelines to avoid transporting oil through the Strait of Hormuz is an “obvious answer”.

“To your point about pipelines – that’s an obvious answer to some of this. It won’t be able to supply at the rate we’ve seen until this war, but Saudi Arabia is looking at putting in a second or a third pipeline.

“We’re going to have to see some adjustments globally with regard to expectations of oil supply in the weeks and months to come.”
