Ntshavheni delivers R2-5 billion budget vote


Minister in the presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni today delivered a R2.5 billion rand budget vote for the 2026-27 period.

This is a 3.15 percent decrease as compared to last year.

Ntshavheni also touched on government’s effort to dispel disinformation and misinformation regarding views of xenophobic attacks in the country.

The minister also criticized calls for the GCIS and MDDA to be moved from the Presidency to the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies.
