Northern Cape | Leseding residents plead for basic healthcare
The community of Leseding near Upington in the Northern Cape says years of requests for a health care facility have fallen on deaf ears.
Residents of Leseding – a rural area with mostly farm workers – say they have to travel to Raaswater or Upington for medical treatment – something most of them cannot afford.
They depend on Community health workers to bring their chronic medication to them.
