TUAPSE REFINERY ABLAZE AS UKRAINE HITS AGAIN
Ukraine’s General Staff announced on Tuesday that its forces launched a successful drone attack on Russia’s Tuapse oil refinery, located on the coast of the Black Sea. Eyewitness footage from the site shows significant plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky and showers of black rain.
NO TANKS ON RED SQUARE ON MAY 9
For the first time since 1945, Russia’s annual May 9 military parade in Moscow’s Red Square will not feature columns of military equipment. Russian authorities say the motivation behind this decision is the, quote, “current operational situation.”
BOSNIA TURNS TO LNG VIA CROATIA
Bosnia and Croatia have signed a deal to build a new natural gas pipeline, opening Bosnia’s ability to tap into the global LNG market. The project is another example of the Balkans weaning themselves off Russian energy, a process triggered in the aftermath of Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
