No probe allowed into Najib’s accounts in A-G’s 1MDB audit, Pua tells High Court
The High Court in Kuala Lumpur heard on Thursday (Aug 6) that the Auditor-General’s interim report on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) was limited to the company’s affairs and did not extend to former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s personal bank accounts.
Former Public Accounts Committee member Tony Pua, the plaintiffs’ second witness, said the audit was confined to 1MDB’s financial statements and supporting documents due to limited cooperation from the company.
