‘No evidence’ of H5 bird flu incursion into poultry or agriculture system

Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Minister Julie Collins says there is “no evidence” that H5 bird flu is in Australia’s poultry or agricultural system.

​“We’re doing everything we can do to keep it out of our agriculture and poultry system,” Ms Collins told News24 Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

​“I should be clear: there is no evidence that it’s in there at the moment.

​“So there’s no evidence of any incursion into our poultry or agriculture system.”
