St Kilda great Nick Winmar has been removed from the Australian Football Hall of Fame effective immediately after being found guilty of three assault charges involving violence against a woman. The AFL Commission made the decision, while St Kilda has suspended Winmar from the club’s Hall of Fame pending the formal conclusion of the full legal process. The 60-year-old footballer’s removal follows his criminal convictions.
