As South Africa marks Nelson Mandela’s birthday, Lanseria International Airport hosted about 600 learners for a Mandela Day Career Expo aimed at inspiring the next generation of aviation professionals.
Lanseria Airport holds a special place in the country’s history, having welcomed Nelson Mandela following his release from prison.
The expo was held under Madiba’s famous quote, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” and showcased a wide range of careers in the aviation industry.
