‘MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS?’: Bill Clinton Uses Quran To Slam Trump’s ‘Jihad’ Attack On Abdul El-Sayed
Bill Clinton has delivered a forceful defence of Muslims amid an increasingly bitter political fight over Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed.
“I’m tired of people denigrating Muslims for being Muslims,” Clinton said, before invoking a passage from the Quran that he said his daughter Chelsea first urged him to read as a teenager.
Clinton said the message was that different peoples were placed on Earth not to despise one another, but to “come to know one another and learn from one another.” He added that every faith has bad actors because human beings themselves are flawed, and said he was tired of America’s religious and culture wars.
