Moving towards renewable electricity generation

President Cyril Ramaphosa will officiate the start of commercial operations at a 155MW wind energy facility in Bethal.

This forms part of the country’s move towards renewable electricity generation.

Ummbila Emoyeni Wind Energy Facility will strengthen energy security, expand electricity generation capacity and accelerate the country’s transition towards a more diversified energy mix.
