More than 50 decomposing bodies found at funeral home

Illinois officials are investigating South Chicago Chapel after the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said investigators found more than 50 bodies in various states of decomposition inside the funeral home. State regulators suspended the funeral director and embalmer license, citing conditions they described as a danger to public safety.
