Millions of Aussies set to complete Census today
The Australian Bureau of Statistics is assuring Australians their personal information is secure as millions of households complete the national census today.
Around 3.5 million Australians have already filled out the survey, with another 7 million households expected to complete it today. With 85 per cent of people expected to fill out the census online, concerns have been raised about AI interference and potential data breaches.
An Australian National Audit Office report released in May identified gaps in the ABS’s cyber security systems.
