Matric 2026 | Mpumalanga targets 91% pass rate
Matric exams started on a good note in Mpumalanga, with Deputy Minister of Basic Education Reginah Mhaule and Education MEC Lindi Masina monitoring processes at Masana High School in Bushbuckridge.
In 2025, the province performed exceptionally well, achieving an 86.5% pass rate, up from 84.99% recorded in 2024.
Mhaule expressed gratitude to educators across the country for bringing over nine-hundred thousand learners to this final leg of their school life.
