Gregory John Welton, a 57-year-old man from Maylands, has pleaded guilty to producing and distributing child exploitation material involving an image and story he wrote. The charges are linked to a police investigation connected to disgraced children’s author Craig Silvey, who previously admitted to possessing child exploitation material. Welton was released on bail with strict internet access conditions and will appear in district court for sentencing.
