Madlanga Commission | Security analyst unpacks Len John’s testimony


The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry has heard explosive evidence of alleged links between police, the tow-truck industry and the drug trade in KwaZulu-Natal.

IPID Deputy Director for Investigations Len John has also detailed allegations of extra-judicial killings involving police task teams, questionable cash-in-transit operations and financial transactions allegedly linked to a R 1.5 million hit on a tow-truck operator.

He is testifying about gangs and alleged police involvement in the greater Durban area.

Security analyst Dr Lennit Max interviewed on John’s testimony.
