Madlanga Commission | Dhlamini details his alleged links to taxi industry
Suspended Tshwane Metro Police Department Deputy Chief, Umashi Dhlamini, has sidestepped a series of questions concerning links to the taxi industry.
Testifying before the Madlanga Commission, Dhlamini confirmed that his brothers are involved in the taxi business, but maintains that he is not associated with their operations and does not benefit financially from the family enterprise.
Dhlamini also testified that suspended Gauteng Organised Crime Unit’s Sergeant Fannie Nkosi, had previously washed vehicles belonging to his family, before he joined the SAPS.
