Luigi Mangione fan still supportive after guilty plea #shorts

Luigi Mangione admitted in a dramatic courtroom speech Friday that he killed United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December 2024.

“I shot Mr. Thompson in Manhattan and he died,” Mangione read from a prepared statement while the UnitedHealthcare CEO’s family watched from feet away in Manhattan federal court.

It’s the family’s first time attending a hearing in the case.

Mangione’s attorneys confirmed just before the 11 a.m. hearing that Mangione, 28, would plead guilty to two stalking counts in the federal case against him.

Afterward, the defense said it plans to argue that the plea means Mangione can’t be tried for murder in state court because of laws prohibiting double jeopardy — standing trial twice for the same crime.
