‘Los Angeles is unrecognisable’: Homelessness crisis explodes despite billions spent

Journalist Stella Escobedo is disappointed as homelessness in Los Angeles has spiralled despite billions spent trying to fix the crisis.

“Los Angeles is unrecognisable,” Ms Escobedo told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“Skid Row, where they have homeless people living, used to be called Skid Row because it’s a row. It’s 50 blocks now.

“Billions of dollars have been spent to make homelessness go away, and it’s only gotten worse.”
