‘Long time coming’: One Nation win signals voter revolt against major parties

Liberal Senator Alex Antic believes One Nation’s Farrer victory is a warning sign of growing voter revolt against the Coalition and Labor.

“This is a message that’s been coming for a very long period of time,” Mr Antic told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“I think this result in Farrer is unusually telling.

“This is really people saying that we don’t care what we’re hearing from both sides of the left or the right about this candidate. We don’t care. We’re voting for a new way of doing things, we’re voting for disruptions.

“It’s a message that I think that the right of politics and I would say that the Labor Party and the Greens even need to start heading.”
