Luigi Mangione is expected to plead guilty to a federal stalking charge during a surprise hearing on Friday in New York, just weeks ahead of his state trial. Mangione is accused of fatally shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on the streets of Manhattan in 2024. He was arrested days later at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
