Lindsay Clancy’s Mom on Moment Daughter Confessed ‘Thoughts of Harming the Children’ #shorts
Lindsay Clancy begged for her mother’s help as the postpartum mom of three spiraled into mental illness in the months before strangling her young children, the jury heard Monday at the Massachusetts murder trial.
The defense began presenting its case today — after 70-plus witness testified for the prosecution across three grueling weeks — by calling to the stand Clancy’s mother, sister and a fellow labor and delivery nurse she worked with.
Clancy, 36, strangled her three young children with exercise bands in the basement of the family’s Duxbury, Mass., home in January 2023.
She’s charged with three counts of first-degree murder and faces life in prison without parole if convicted.
