Lindsay Clancy trial: Prosecutor calls murder ‘mortal sin’ in Susan Clancy cross examination
The judge in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial rejected a question a prosecutor posed to the Duxbury woman’s former mother-in-law in which the attorney called murder a “mortal sin” in the eyes of the Catholic church.
With Susan Clancy on the stand, prosecutor Shanan Buckingham asked her about the family’s visit to church on Christmas Day. Buckingham had been asking Susan Clancy about Lindsay Clancy’s condition in the months leading up to the deaths of her three children in January 2023.
