Lime ‘scooter takeover’ gets creative during takedown
No power? No problem. Hundreds of people showed up at U.S. Bank Stadium Friday for the third social-media fueled takeover ride in the past week.
Lime had cut engine power to its rental scooters in parts of downtown Minneapolis to discourage the mass ride from gumming up traffic. The group could still walk, use their own electric scooters or ride bikes, shopping carts, or anything that moved.
