Labor announces 20 per cent east coast gas reserve
The federal government says Australia’s east coast energy giants will be forced to divert 20 per cent of their exports from major trading partners, to be reserved for domestic use.
The move is aimed at quelling fears of gas shortages and driving down power prices.
