Kuruman Floods | Residents plead for assistance after floods

Communities in the Joe Marolong Municipality in the Northern Cape were the hardest hit during the recent floods in the Kuruman area. More than twenty villages in ward 6 of the municipality were severely affected. A four year old bridge linking the villages of Maphiniki and Tlokomelang was partially destroyed. More than 1 980 families were displaced.
