Kruger National Park welcomes 24 new field rangers

The Kruger National Park has welcomed 24 new rangers to help conserve wildlife in the park.

This as the national park commemorates World Ranger Day at the Paul Kruger gate in Mpumalanga.

Five dogs of the K9 unit, that helped to apprehend more than a hundred suspects, are retiring, and were also commended for their service.

Over 400 rangers work to protect nearly 2 million hectares of land in the park.
