A Pakistani court sentenced a 22-year-old man to death on May 19, 2026, for murdering a teenage influencer after she repeatedly rejected his advances. The murder of 17-year-old TikTok star Sana Yousaf in June 2025 drew nationwide condemnation. It also reignited debate about the safety of women after some people left online comments blaming Yousaf for her own death.
